La face A vous propose Madame, bijou franco-érotique 80’s signé Éric Vincent suivi d’un edit sensuel et tropical du morceau Amazoniaque d’Yves Simon revu et corrigé par Le duo La Décadanse. La face B dévoile un track dont on ne connaît que le titre, The Mongol Raid, ovni dancefloor à 100 bpm édité par Ygalove & Barnes pour finir sur une bombe Afrobeat “Le Temps est Long” de Tchamy Patterson.

Cet edit signé La Décadanse revisite le célèbre titre Amazoniaque du compositeur et écrivain français Yves Simon. Ce morceau se rapproche tellement du style de production que La Décadanse emploie pour ses propres compositions que l’idée d’en faire un edit était inévitable, nous explique le duo. Tropicalisant, sensuel et poétique, ce titre phare de l'esthète qu'est Yves Simon s’est imposé comme une évidence pour Marc Lapeyre et Laurent Pastor, qui viennent de terminer leur premier album, Everything is Terrible.

This edit is another take on Amazoniaque, a classic 1983 hit by French composer and writer Yves Simon. "In itself, the original tune happens to sound so close to our own production style and technique that as soon as we stumbled upon it, the idea of a rework not only had an obvious appeal — it became mandatory," say Marc Lapeyre and Laurent Pastor, the two DJs and producers behind the La Décadanse moniker. A scenic tropical pop track with just a whiff of sensual nostalgia : a match made in heaven for the duo that released its first LP in 2018, Everything Is Terrible.
